Staying away from fast food

I've been trying to stay away from fast food. It is really hard. I don't seem to be getting anywhere being that my fridge is stocked to the brim with frozen pizzas and frozen burgers. So I don't feel there is much of an option to eat healthy. I wonder if there is a way to maybe use a frozen pizza to make an entirely different but healthy meal. Hmph.

Just put something green next to your meat every meal, and you are good to go.

Buy frozen veggies. They're blanched already and don't require much more than being steamed/boiled back to life and some seasonings. I keep different pastas on hand, and a few meats. It goes pretty damn far and is simple to cook. Single mom life is crazy hectic, but if I devote a day to cooking for the week, freezing it in portions, it's like my own frozen dinner...of health.
    you can do it!

My wife and I are trying to stay away from fast food but it's proving fairly difficult. Part of the problem is our occasionally terrible schedules (getting home from work at 11PM, sometimes working on weekends, etc...) don't always gel together.
