Black Keys
Sooooooo excited to finally hear that The Black Keys are coming to Austin! I bought tickets to the Houston show not too long ago (I was afraid they wouldn't make it to the ATX), but fear no more. Unfortunately, I couldn't work my pre-sale magic this morning while waiting in line for Franklin's (which is the shit by the way); I guess I'll just have to get these tickets when everyone else does. Too bad I couldn't be a part of the first 1000. Maybe I'll get lucky like two summers ago, and realize that I'm watching Carney unload his gear out back of DAR constitution hall. A girl can dream. I don't think I'll ever be as lucky as I was that year. Seriously though...seeing Carney out back; randomly running into a radio station guy that let us in for the sound check; meeting Carney and Auerbach; and having two tickets released for us to the sold out show. Can you say FUCKIN RIDICULOUS! Even if it doesn't happen again, I can't wait to see what happens this time.

when it comes to music stuff I tend to be fairly lucky; mainly this past year bc of friends...I got to go out drinking with The National and Local Natives. That was pretty badass!
