So many bands I am excited to see this year, and most of them playing free parties at some point!
Bands I'm excited to see(some spoilers, sorry SXSW gods: you don't control me!): Outkast, Foo Fighters, Filter, St. Vitus, Crowbar, Helmet, Kylesa, Valient Thorr, Iron Age, Cults, Colin Meloy, Ted Leo, Emmylou Harris, Smoking Popes, Strokes, Erykah Badu, Public Enemy, Off!, Peelander-Z, Hollerado, Arson Anthem, Superjoint Ritual/Down, Sublime
There ya go. I did some spoiling. Some red herrings in there though, just to mix it up.

It'll be a lot of fun, I wish the Foos and Sublime would go ahead and announce where they'll be. Foo Fighters booked their hotel from Tues-Sun, from what I'm hearing. Sublime is here in town recording their new album with Paul Leary. I hope FF don't wait until right after their documentary is shown to announce their venue.
