Crystal Method
Got the chance to snag VIP access to a Crystal Method set Saturday at Republic Live. It was great. Republic Live is really starting to grow on me, the VIP lounge has a real "Crow's Nest" feel and was air conditioned and awesome. I'm not a huge fan of the electronic music, but I wore the CM album Tweekend out when I was a teenager. Something about listening to that CD made me feel like some sort of total badass, for reason heretofor unknown.........
The set got me thinking.....bring Aphex Twin, Crystal Method, and a reunited Prodigy to Fun Fun Fun Fest! You know it would be badass, and it should happen. Hell, let's throw in Tricky and Kraftwerk while we're at it. It could happen, right?

I like where your head's at. I saw The Crystal Method earlier this summer, tons of fun. We just have to be careful not to let too much fun electronic shit in or the notorious womp womps of dubstep will creep on over and steal the festival. I personally love that brand of music, but it can be pretty overpowering at some festis. I'd personally love to get some Deadmau5 or Diplo on the scene - much more newschool, but it tickles my fancy.
