Last Days Here
So I made a deal with my self that I wouldn't watch "Last Days Here" the documentary about Bobby Liebling from Pentagram mainly because we had such a good time during SXSW seeing the band and hanging out with him. I reneged on that deal tonight, and I have to say that Bobby's story is heartbreaking. I cried watching this sonofabitch, and I don't usually cry. I'm glad that he has somewhat recovered(he reportedly tried to score drugs during SXSW), and I hope he lives a few more years. I would hope that he maybe even has the type of recovery that Scott Weinrich has had over the past few years. That man is a miracle, and Bobby could be too.

I've shied away from the doc for the exact same reasons, Toni: I was worried that it was going to break me in two. My wife started watching it without me, one night, and she couldn't get through it. Some time, I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and give it a shot.

a LOT of my friends went to a small indie theater here in Seattle to see it, said it was heart-wrenching, so glad it's Netflix Instant (as are SO many good Docs)
