On Saturday May 21st, I went to see ANTIseen, Joe Buck, and ZEKE at Red 7. I stayed at Red 7 for about up until about 11:30 or so, then headed to Mugshots. Opened a tab, drank a bit, then went back to Red 7. Stayed for most of Antiseen's set, then headed inside and sang some karaoke, which I had done off and on while at the club. After that, I headed back to Mugshots, where I closed my tab at 1:00 AM. After this I hung around a bit more at Red 7 then proceeded to walk south on Red River toward my bus stop which is in front of the Sheraton at 11th and Sabine. Somewhere just past the apartment buildings on Red River there is a wooded area with Waller Creek running through the bottom of it , there are steps and things to walk down to the water if you were so inclined. This area is right next to the Sheraton. Anyway. On the corner of 11th and Red River I was walking with my phone out in front of me in my hand checking my alarm clock and things when I was attacked.

Two black males, one thin, one fat, jumped me at this point. The skinnier one yelled "hey motherfucker" and swung at me, hitting me in the chest. He a left nice imprint of his huge knuckles on my chest also, which the police photographed. Right as he swung at me, the fat one hit me in the back of the head and knocked me down. They grabbed my wallet out of my left pocket, took the cash out of it, and threw it on top of me. I was laying at this corner on my chest with my right leg out in the street. The two males jumped into a dark blue Lincoln TownCar and sped forward, hitting my leg. This is where I lost consciousness. I don't remember much from when I woke up except that I started groggily walking home down Oak Springs(11th). I was picked up by a cab somewhere near the area where Pleasant Valley and Oak Springs/Rosewood meet. I'm not sure how long I was walking, but I got home around 3:00-3:30 when my housemate Dawn called the police and paramedics. I was concussed, so the timeline is VERY fuzzy for me at this point. I'm lucky to remember anything. The hospital said I had a concussion and there is heavy bruising on my legs, and my Lumbar muscles swelled up from landing on my tailbone when I fell.

The thin attacker was wearing a San Antonio Spurs jersey with black t-shirt and black shorts on underneath. His shoes were purple and black. The fat one was in a black t shirt and shorts. I didn't see his shoes.

So now everybody knows as much as I know.
