Guess what I found out today?
While I thought I had caught the flu, in July of all months, it turns out I caught strep throat.
What the fuck? I can't even remember when the last time I had strep throat. How is this still even a thing?
My neck hurts.
I had to miss two days of work. If I add that to the three vacation days I took the equals to an extra tiny paycheck just in time for rent.
I'm feeling especially bitchy.
Did I mention I'm quitting smoking?

It seems strep is making it's way around Austin. I have two friends and they have other friends/ coworkers also going through it. My sister always got it I somehow never did *knocks on wood*. Hope you feel better and yes congrats on the quitting! Your pocketbook and your body thank you.
