Back in 2007, Mitt Romney promised that, as president, he would impose a technology mandate requiring all PC vendors to place a pornography filter on new computers in order to make sure make sure kids don't see pornography. I'm sure that Mittens was just paying lip service to his base, as filtering software (and free proxies to get around filters) has been around for years.
