This is indeed a disturbing universe...

I had trouble going to sleep tonight. I found myself wandering through the dark back alleys of Youtube and I ended up here. Don't judge me.

@trickydick: Point taken, I just watched the video and it appeared to be a good show. Maybe I'll see you at the Bob Mould performance; otherwise, stick it to the mang anyway you can.

My argument is not with the content or the fact that as zombiots (my word, feel free to disperse...) we choose to watch such drivel, but with stupid people who feel their vote, comment, or opinion as misguided and irrational as it may be, needs to be known to anyone/everyone.
Take my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB-xMO2zPi4 of a great band Eleventh Dream Day. Just WHAT exactly did you NOT like about this that made you suggest your opinion matters to me? and why ruin an otherwise PERFECT run of positive reviews/ratings??
Anyway, I can't seem to find the thread of your question of whether i'm going to FFFF7 or not. The answer lamently is "no". The price for this fest is the same as ACL Fest. And despite my actually thinking this is a better festival, I cannot seem to cough up equal amounts of $$ for a fest I still don't know who is playing in. That said, if DAY passes are reasonable AND Bob Mould plays on a day as other considerably gooder (my word also, feel free to meme...) bands play, I will consider buying a ONE DAY pass. Otherwise, stick it to the mang.

@trickydick: I cannot argue with your rationale, but I think it has a great deal to do with the "stick-to-it-iveness" that we Americans are so famous for. Once we start something, we surely have to see it to the end. But seriously, we, to paraphrase Renton from "Trainspotting," choose to sit on the couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing reality shows, stuffing fucking junk food into our mouths. We choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing our last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats we spawned to replace ourselves. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to carryon with this indictment of Western culture. We are just lazy, farging iceholes.

I am not sure what I find more troubling: the fact that 3 million people watched this or the fact that 3 million people watched this AND THEN decided they didn't "like" it.
What part of the thumbnail did someone say to themselves, "Oh, certainly this video will somehow redeem itself in the end so it is totally worth my time if I view it" ??
I believe if in the day of youtube and pong, one should give a rational explanation for "not liking" something before they vote on it and have a jury (of their peers) decide whether it indeed does warrant a "not like" vote. Otherwise, we should take these people out back and shoot them in the face.

Oh, I did not need to see that. Now where is that evasive UNSEE button...

@Phillip: I would hesitate to say his rump shaking moment was my favorite part, but it definitely left an impression. Regarding Fergie, I would say that - at least - she can no longer be called Senorita Pee-Pants.

This is fairly terrifying. My favorite part would have to be when he gets all aggro and gets right up in the camera. Yikes...Fergie sure does look crappy these days, eh?
