In some cases, I think they try to keep them a secret until just before the Fest, so people don't skip the big show just for the aftershow. I know MCD a few years back at Mohawk and Floor last year at Red 7 were sort of word-of-mouth, poorly kept "secrets."
http://www.showlistaustin.com/ tracks all the punk/metal/hip-hop/indie/etc. shows in town, and they'll have shows listed that weekend as they're announced. As of right now, FFF is the only thing listed Saturday and Sunday.
