Yeah it does seem like it would be hard to make friends in Houston, for sure. My experience at the HOB was pretty good last night. It was a sold out show, so it was definitely crowded inside, but there still seemed like plenty of good vantage points and a sufficient number of bars for the people. Parking was fairly easy as well. There are some garages close by that offered parking for $5-10 but I'm stingy so I managed to find a spot on the street just a couple of blocks down on Caroline, and I saw some other open spots around there as well, so if you drive around a bit I imagine you'll find something. Walking the streets of downtown Houston at night by myself wasn't the best experience, but I survived! Have fun!!
