just beachy
kind of have mixed feelings about going to beach house tonight...while I love beach house and like the walkmen, I'm hesitant about the shitty crowd that will be there. pretty sure it'll be filled with ut girls in their cowboy boots and geez I really don't even know who all is into beach house but I just have a feeling its going to be a little lamestream.

in other news tomorrow is my dead father's birthday and my mother called me to tell me that she's getting married to a man she met eight months ago.
oh and I have a two year old so any one who has ever had one of those knows how much fun it is to constantly have to reprimand the person you love more than anythiing in the world. shitty.

I have two nephews who have lived with me since they were born and I consider them to be my own sons. I love them to pieces, but sometimes, when I am trying to get them to do something - clean their room, do their homework, put their dirty clothes in the hamper - they act like I'm not there and I have to raise my voice to get them to pay attention. I feel bad for having to do that, but fortunately that doesn't happen to often.
