I wish I was
at fyf...but I'm not.
even last year labor day I was on a party boat, well, partying, duh
this year, howevs, I worked all weekend and now working on preparing myself to start a power point presentation for my human resources class.
lots of good shows coming up soon, which is exciting. nothing this week but twin shadow and then ty segall/thee oh sees the weekend after. oh and beach house with the walkmen a couple days after that. exciting stuffs.
anybody doing anything exciting this weekend?

FYF, Outside Lands, Lollapalooza - all would have been great to check out this summer, but I've been enduring a small death in my social life so that I can make several trips up to Austin this fall.
I'm going up to see Dead Can Dance this Friday and catch a Mayer Hawthorne DJ set the next night. I'm going to see Twin Shadow perform on September 17th in McAllen, Texas and back up to Austin on October 10th to see Grimes. Of course, I'm going up the first weekend of November for F3F. I would love to go up to see Beach House and the Walkmen. Unless I come into some money, it ain't gonna happen.
