and you'd to anything to bring her back
Remember last year when the dum dum girls and crocodiles had to drop out of funfest? That was a major major bummer, but completely understandable considering dee dee lost a member of her family. The dum dum girls new album has a lot of material that you can tell was written during this time and I can completely relate. Especially to the song "hold your hand"
If my dad had not been taken away from me almost 6 years ago, he'd turn 56 today. He was seriously the coolest dad a girl could ever have. He took me on all kinds of adventures (like a smashing pumpkins concert on my 11th birthday and lots of meteor shower parties) and always made me feel that I could conquer the world if I just tried hard enough. Opened my mind to all different kinds of music and a great appreciation of partying our asses off. He would definitely be one of those old dudes at the black stage rocking out to slayer, partying harder than kids half his age.
Damn I miss my dad. I'd do anything to bring him back.

First, my sincere condolences. I think on a human level, we can all empathize with the loss of a love one. It is a special kind of hurt.
Second, (and also on a human level)...depending on whose back we're talking about here, I'm not sure I'd do *ANYTHING* to her back.
