Sub/Dom relationships

So, I have this friend. She's a great person and I really get along with her. She is also the first person I've ever known that is in a Sub/Dom relationship . These kind of things have always freaked me out just as little. It's not the whips and chains and needles that scare me. It's the ability for one person to believe that they are "owned" by another. I just can't help but see that as wrong.
