Parents of FFF Fest??

WIth this parking news, that the minimum time it'll probably take me to get to my car is about 10-15 minutes, I'm getting more and more worried about my plan to leave my 2 year old at a daycare about 15 minutes away (for a few hours to get in on some mosh pit action). Maybe I'm just too much of a worrywart. I've never left him with anyone other than family, and even then it's been maybe 5 times total. I take this boy everywhere and he usually loves it. If not, we go home. As long as he has a good midday nap, he's good to go. Have any of you FFF parents brought their kids to the fest successfully? It'll be my husband and me, so it's not like it's unmanageable if we take turns hanging back with my son. I'm not sure what I want to do yet. Most people I talk to say to leave him at the daycare for at least a few hours because he'll probably have more fun there. But having a 30 minute barrier between us would really put me on edge. Ahhh any tips?

Thanks for the input Snugglewitme, you're probably right. I'm just a worrywart.

Bonnie, I sincerely wish I had a MiMa or Nana or whatever who was willing to get in on some babysitting action, but unfortunately it's not in the cards. Count yourself lucky! Though, I think the daycare should work out at least for as long as I can handle.

We're planning on bringing out boys, next year, when they're older. They have been to quite a few shows in their young age but I don't think they're ready for an all day festival, yet. I would be unhappy if I had to leave early after dropping that much cash. Luckily, MiMa is keeping them for the weekend so we can go kid-free!

You could always make sure the daycare has your phone number and if anything happens to have them give you a call. I think everything should be fine.
