I became a mom in June 2009 to a gorgeous saucer-eyed hellion and haven't had much time to play since. We trekked to last year's fest without baby in tow, but we're hoping this year, if all goes well,that we can take the little guy along.
We've got what, 18 days? Something like that, and even less til we leave to get to austin :D This is really the one vacation we take for ourselves every year, and I gotta say, it's usually the highlight. Well, I haven't been to too many shows in the RGV. The last time I tried, I went a VFW in McAllen (like I used to do in my HS/college days in New Jersey) and I was the oldest guy not in any of the bands (and older than most of them as well). I felt like a creepy old man. On the other hand, the bar was pretty much open for me. Still, that was the last time. :)
