I'm Here

In the media tent in front of Seton Family Hospital(thanks for the internet!). The weather is great, a perfectly warm and sunny November day in Austin. I had to park about 6 blocks away but it was free and close to a Starbucks should I need Wifi.
First up for me will be Louisville's the Young Widows. I am really looking forward to being completely destroyed by these guys. It'd be great to get a word with them but we shall see.
Then at 2:35 it's the Nightmarchers, sure to be another scorcher.
I have about 40 minutes to kill until I can catch Shonen Knife on the orange stage and a two hour wait until nightime fun. With: Death, 7 Seconds, Neon Indian, Shearwater, and the mighty Jesus Lizard.
Good vibes in the media tent talking with Joe Gross of the Austin-American Statesman, on the panel last night at Mohawk.
I could do without the strange flying but that just bit my neck but welcome to Texas and what a beautiful day it is. Same with the rain they're calling for tomorrow.
The FFF program assure's me that there will be "no dillo dirt" here. And goes on to say that: "unlike some other outdoor festivals, you won't spend the weekend slip-slidin' across reconstituted sewage."

Well, alright.

I can hear competing bands to the left and two the right of me and the choppers taking off and landing at Seton Family across the street.

See you in the crowd motherfuckers.
