Of course it is the week AFTER I go to NYC. I am a bit bothered by that... as I hear of this festival every year. But it is sooooo expensive! It makes me super happy that I live within driving distance (12 hours) to a place like Austin that has AMAZING music festivals for a fraction of the price! (I sound like the FFFF spokesperson). But seriously. Check this out... I got my PIP ticket for about $180 we will say (after service charges or whatever). They do have an amazing lineup I must say:

That is ridiculous!!!! haha The website is hard for me to navigate for some reason.... I mean where are the tickets???
Under the FAQ it says this

$495!!!! WOWEE!!! that isn't even for special access!!!! CRAZY! Now the full festival badge does get you into all of the clubs, if you are at least 21. :) but that is so expensive.... even if I had a steady paycheck as a teacher already, I wouldn't be able to afford that probably. BECAUSE I have to add in the cost of getting to NYC, plus other necessities like lodge, food, etc. etc. and NYC is expensive from what I understand. (guess I will find out since I fly there Saturday for the first time!!)



Are any of you going to this or have gone to this before? Its also film and other things, but I hear about this festival on satellite radio every year and it drives me crazy because I know I will never go to it. I can easily go to things like Bumper Shoot, Coachella, Vegoose, Austin City Limits Festival, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Voodoo Festival, Monolith, Rainbow Gathering, etc. etc. but none of those cost an arm and a leg to get in!


So thank you Fun Fun Fun Fest, for making it possible for me, a poor English instructor and rocker, to get to see amazing music!!! I love you guys!
