Has anyone stayed at Hostelling Int'l? I've read good reviews online, and it seems like I'd be able to get to the Festival fairly easily. Help! Backup plan: I just signed up for Couchsurfing, possibly for this but definitely for other events. I can probably find a hotel, but it doesn't really make sense for one person, especially with no money. I wish I knew about/had equipment for camping.

I stayed at a Hostel int'l in Boston and is was well worth it. Super cheap and we could see the Red Sox game from our window. The only thing is that we had a room all to ourselves, didn't have to stay with anyone we didn't know. Don't know what type of dynamic that creates.

I signed up for an account when I was abroad but I've yet to stay in one in the U.S. It's definitely a lot cheaper than a hotel since you're just paying for a bed. Make sure to lock your stuff up and you'll be fine.
