Formula 1
So total non-music entry here. I hit up all 3 days at Formula 1 this past weekend here in Austin. While it is very surreal to me to see such an international event plopped down in the middle of the tiny "bump in the road" Elroy (on the SE side of Austin), it seemed to go very smoothly. I actually enjoyed the first 2 days of practice and qualifying more than the race day itself (of course the Grand Prix race itself was really fun, the crowds were just BIG compared to the first two days). And the fastest lap time of the F1 qualifying sessions was close to (or maybe faster?) than the fastest lap time of the Grand Prix, so you still get to see some fast (200+ MPH) racing before the big race. Much love to my awesome wife who let me go to FunFunFun *and* then F1 2 weeks later! :)
Already bought my tickets for Moto GP in April!!!
