Hey,do you know what else used to be down at Auditorium Shores?
Austin Aquafest:

"The organizers began to book bigger and bigger acts, even paying premiums to get popular acts such as Dolly Parton in 1992. This drove ticket prices up and attendance down."

I hope so too. this will be my 2nd, and it's bad enough I have to drive all the way over there, so that's gas, hotel, food, and merch. Jacked up prices are gonna either give me less to spend, or even reconsider going, and just find shows closer to where I live. Although I know I don't want to miss this, It'll just make it a little harder on me. I have my fingers crossed!

I concur with Inky. Sometimes change is good but I share your leeriness. There's only one way to find out and that's to do this shite! I'm happy to kiss the dust good bye.

just reading that first line from the wiki.. It was a 10 day fest... that may be why it cost so much as well lol. I have faith that F3f won't fuck up my fave time of the year. Let's have some brewskies and mosh at the black stage PP.
