So... one year ago (on the 14th) I was supposed to get married. Long, bullshit story short... I'm not married & I'm still not completely ok with what happened. In fact, I'm still pretty damn angry & hurt, but life goes on, right?

In the process of planning said wedding I signed up for all those cheesy bridal sites & gave them all of my info & my honey's info... all that bullshit. After he walked out I was depressed & couldn't bring myself to go to each fucking site to unsubscribe so I blocked emails & had friends log in & cancel accounts.

Well, apparently something fell through the cracks somewhere because I just got a lovely little email from theknot.com congratulating me on my upcoming one-year wedding anniversary on Monday & giving me "tips" on how to make the day memorable.

Gee... thanks! Just what I needed.

I'm thinking perhaps I should make a website for women who have been jilted & left at the altar (so to speak) where they can go & be unsubscribed from all such nonsense with the click of one button. Of course, that would require the cooperation of countless stupid bridal sites, but I think there just might be a market for such a thing. It could also include articles on the best ways to burn your ex's property & maybe a place to post their photos & information so you can vent about them.

No... I'm not bitter.
