FFF Veterans
My kids & I have been attending FFFF since the first one & have noticed that the dust has gotten worse with each year. I'm thinking this has to do with the crowds getting bigger & the more people, the more dust we kick up. Last year about kicked my ass, so this year we plan to come fully prepared.
We've spent the last few weeks putting our heads together & thinking about past years & have come up with the following list of things we can't forget to bring along this year:
Bandanas for everyone (or swine flu masks, incase it really gets bad!), sunglasses (the bigger the better for keeping the dust out), camera, back up batteries for the camera, skateboards, a blanket or something for sitting on during lame shows, big refillable water bottles (fuck $3 for water when you can fill one up at the water fountain), cell phones so we can find each other, & a roll of toilet paper because standing in line for an hour only to discover there's no more fucking paper SUCKS!
I'm sure we'll come up with other things. Luckily my 13 yr old has volunteered to cart around the backpack loaded with all this shit! Yay for me.

Yeah, I had one bandana in my bag & 2 teenagers with me. We took turns using it. This year we'll be prepared.

I was so glad I just happened to have my bandanas with me last year, or I would have been screwed. I still ended up with green phlegm for a week afterward. This time the Tranzig dudes are bringing gas masks.
