I've just had the best dining experience ever at Star Seeds & I have to share it with everyone! I love Star Seeds, don't get me wrong, but it's pretty common knowledge that the place is really hit or miss. The food is good (when it's good), but the service is always absolutely fucking atrocious. Period. Yet I go back because, well... the food is good (when it's good) &, of course, it's open all night & awfully convenient after a late night show.

Tonight I went in for dinner with my boyfriend & my son. There were few people there when we arrived, but we anticipated the usual crappy, uninterested service. Instead we got prompt, attentive service from a great waiter who apparently just recently started. I think he said he'd been there 2 weeks. He was the only waiter there & was attentive to every table all night. We had chips & queso for appetizer & her quickly brought out more chips without ever once being asked & before the previous basket even reached the bottom! I've NEVER had that happen at Star Seeds. He was completely on the ball & the food was actually the best it's been in awhile.

Didn't catch the guy's name, but I talked with him a bit & learned he was here from Portland, OR... by way of Florida. He has a light bulb tattoo on the back of his arm (among several others, but that one caught my eye). If you go in & he's working be sure to tell him he fucking rocks!
