Why no Nouvelle Vague no more?
While showing a friend the FFF lineup last night, in an effort to convince him that he has to buy a PIP ticket & come be my runnin' buddy for the weekend, I suddenly realized that one of the bands I have been super excited about has vanished from the list!
So.......... Why no Nouvelle Vague no more???

I did a quick google search, but couldn't really find any info as to why they're gone. It was so reminiscent of last year when I suddenly realized that X had vanished from the lineup. I know.... not quite the same, especially since I have seen Nouvelle Vague before & have never seen X (who just happens to have been once of my favourite bands for fucking ever). So, no tears were shed this time or anything.... but still... pretty damn bummed. They really woulda been great.

In addition to this smelling like the X thing last year (which, BTW, I'm REALLY F'ING LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THEM THIS YEAR!!!), this reminds me of, if I am recalling it correctly, the 2 FFFs that Flipper were on the original lineup and then dropped (I think The Sword showed up in their place on the lineup, which was OK with me... :) ).

I'm curious about this as well. I convinced a few friends to go on the basis that they were there and when i looked today they were gone. Makes me a little sad, i was looking forward to seeing them.

I'm still wondering if they'll be making an appearance at a Nites show? Their tour dates don't list any U.S. shows, but they also don't have anything scheduled on November 2-4, so it's definitely possible. I'm also wondering about Doldrums dropping off the lineup, since I was really into those guys.
