BRAINS!!!!!
Went to Zombie Ball at the ACL Live venue Saturday night. It was pretty cool, but over all I think that was the WRONG venue for the event. Would have been much better just about anywhere else. Preferably somewhere that's more open... not various levels of seating. This should just NOT be a seated event in the first place. Luckily we were smart enough to buy the "standing floor" tickets, so we were down where the "party" was, but even then... I don't know... wrong atmosphere. Still, I had lots of fun with the people I was with. Last year it was held outside, at the old power plant, & I hear it was awesome. Something like that would be more suited to it, I think.
Was anyone else there? What did you think?
Here are my two favourite pictures from the night...

Thanks! I'm a hairstylist & makeup artist. I've been doing makeup professionally since I was 17, so.... quite awhile! I started out doing theatrical makeup for theatre productions & moved on to learn beauty & editorial makeup. I have worked on a few movies, locally, but it's been awhile since I've had time for anything like that. This was actually A LOT of fun for me to do & really made me want to start doing more special effects makeup. So... you never know! Movies just might be my next goal!

Thanks! Zombies are my specialty! I love doing it & usually get to do quite a bit around this time of year, but this was actually the FIRST TIME in 17 years of doing makeup that I've had the opportunity to do it on myself. It was fun!
