Sooooo...who is going to see Smashing Pumkins on 9/30 at Stubb's BBQ? I just got my tickets this morning as part of 101x presale. SP was my favorite band when I was in high school back in Puerto Rico, so I can't wait to see them live for the first time (oh well...at least Corgan). I don't like most of their post-Mellon Collie material, but from what I've read online he still playing old...

This year I've gotten more active with fellow FFFgoers...reading their blogs, posting comments, etc. I already noticed that a couple of people are looking for people to go with to the festival. For about 4 years I had such a dilemma for pretty much all the shows I went to...going by myself to most of them. Just wanted to share with the FFF community that there is a meetup group called...

  7. Fun1 "Discount"???

    Sat, Jul 17, 2010 at 7:42 AM 6 Comments

Soooo....last year my early-bird ticket cost $79.97 after tax. This year I've paid $71.5 for my "lottery Fun1" ticket. What kind of discount is that??? After all the hoopla ("Only 500 users will be selected for the lottery" blah blah) I was expecting to get the ticket for at least $60. Breath in breath out (sigh)...ohh well...at least I'm hoping they don't disappoint with the final lineup.

Soooo...I don't listen to that much metal music these days but lately the metalhead in me has been feeling like getting into a mosh pit and do some punching/kicking. Next Wednesday I'm gonna go to Thrice's show at Emo's so I'm hoping they play some of the old material. They are far from metal, but songs like "Phoenix Ignition" and "Deadbolt" are bound to get people pumped up. As a "backup...
