OFWGKTA in San Diego, Broken Camera!
Its 5 am. I woke up randomly after passing out at my friends. Im home now, but got damn, that show was amazing! Their energy is so infectious. If there was an Odd Fututre show every week, I would go because this is the shit that gets me energized. My legs are still sore from bouncing around and crowd surfing.
The shitty titty part about the night is...while I was trying to get a boost up to crowd surf, I pocketed my Olympus Pen EE-3 camera and it fell out while I was being carried out! The Olympus Pen EE-3 camera is my fun camera. Its an old 1970's half frame camera. It shoots 35mm film and doubles your exposures by shooting negatives half the size of your normal 35mm, 36 exposure roll. So you get 72 shots on each roll.
This is what it looks like: http://www.flickr.com/photos/the_brownhorse/2301384363/
(The above Flickr is NOT mine. This is my page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnnnyn/ )
Anyways, I didn't let it affect the rest of my night, so I went up to the balcony and ordered a $12 whiskey ginger....WTF? $12?
While I was rocking out, throwing water, empty cans, cups and anything else around me at the crowd below, I saw a dude with my camera! I chugged the rest of my drink and went down, pushing my way through the dense crowd...again...and got my camera back. The dude was sooo fucking nice, man. He found it with the intent of giving it back, man. That is badass! I was for sure thinking someone came up on a great camera.
Long story short, I got the camera back, and stoked that I can develop the limited amount of photos from the show. However, the camera is busted. I love this camera! this is my second one that I've owned. Its a shame, but at least I have it. It is the best paperweight of all time now. AND I got the roll of film out....the VERY last roll that camera will ever produce again.
