ok so i decided against upgrading to PIP so now is the time for me to start saving some money for the fest. The most obvious expense is booze, but i also spent a ton of money on food last year. Mainly bbq sammiches. And snow cones even though it was freezing cold and raining outside. Yeaaaaaahhh was so much fun to slide around in the mud to get to the food vendors lol. Anywayssssss, time to save that cash so i can buy myself and my buddies (when i'm feeling generous, probably after i'm buzzed) a brewsky.

Yeah, the folks who responded to my forum post last year about "Was PIP worth it" all seemed to like PIP, but it's just SO expensive to upgrade this year...

Yeah dude, i'm doing the same thing. Gonna be perty trashed that weekend. The only thing is that if I can't find anyone to let me stay at they're place in Austin during fun fest then I might be forced to get a hotel even though I live about 30 minutes from the city. Might be a little lame. haha

i live in the faraway town known as odessa which is like 5 1/2 to 6 hrs away. But i will be staying in the La quinta like a block or so away, maybe i can booze it up before going because this year there won't be any open spots for me since there is a ton of bands i want to check out. I'll probably stock up on a few booze for my room anyways lol. I do have to save up money anyways just for any unforseen expenses. Oh and thanks for reminding me eureeka, i need to buy new tires for my car too...

how far do you live from the fest? cause last year i found spots of time where there wasn't anyone i wanted to see and went home and ate and downed a bunch of rum. then drove back. i didn't have money for all the cool stuff so i snuck in some snacks too. plus you have to pee too much when you drink a bunch of beer
