i enjoyed being a PIP, although i do have a few complaints. Yes it was great being able to get "free" beer quickly, buuut i kinda wished they gave out those giant cans of Tecate, so that i wouldnt have to leave my spot to go get another drink so often. That and the PIP viewing areas seemed so far away to me. I ventured into the pip area only twice. And that was before Brian Posehn and after about an hour of being up front for Slayer. It's a nice area, don't get me wrong, just too far from the stage. Really it would be awesome if the pip viewing area was around where the sound guys are.

yeah the running out of beer thing sucked. i was drinking tecate all weekend, and when i found out i'd have to switch to heiny light on sunday evening, i just decided to stop drinking beer. i AM glad, though, that they didn't have kegs and cups again this year. we would have been drinking a ton of dirt.

Overall, it sounds like they have more of the PIP 'together' this year than past, but I think I'll still be rollin' plebeian/serf style next year...

The PIP area was for me a place to chill when I needed a break. It worked out well cause I was in PIP when Danzig was wasting my time so it was easy to rock over to Public Enemy. I would usually use area to eat. I agree the big beers would have been nice.
