Saturday Night @ Red 7... I will try to be there. It's most awesome.

04:25 PM Black stage?!?

Heard the dude from Shearwater was sick and he'd only be playing guitar. Can anyone confirm this?!? Been to the Myspace but it hasn't been updated to reflect the news. Rest east my Friend and get well. Time for some rocking due November.

Although I'm not big on their appropriation of Norse mythology, T.N.V. rocks the house indeed. Saw them at a Mohawk show and it was one of the best I'd witnessed in a while. Not to mention their cute frontwoman but that's another story. Meet me at the front row whenever they play the Fun Fest.

Loved this movie way back in the late 80s. The Philip Glass score was great and fit the imagery very well. And the cinematography... Need I say more? Years later I was happy to see the character make a cameo in the Mortal Kombat series of video games. This move showed Buraka had crossover potential. Now taking the music festival world by storm, Buraka will prove it's skills in the live arena.

I am so scared of a band named Destroyer. They are so intimidating and frustrating too. When they play I get the willie-nillies and want to live in Oklahoma far away from any and all Fun Fests. Austin is now more scary because Destroyer is coming to a stage near you. Why stop?

Heard ACL sucked this year. The mudpit was made of sewage if you didn't know already. Hope you weren't one of the poisoned few frolicking in the feces. Most sick and digusting. Dust over bacteria anyday for me. Too bad Sonic Youth couldn't make it to ACL. Maybe they heard it sucked hard in advance.

Anyone know if M.O.B. will be performing their hits at this year's Fest? Caught them in Boston last year and the show was excellent. One of the guitars was out of tune but no biggie on that front. Let's hope their show this time is very loud. Most awesome.

Been following this band ever since their breakout hit. Hoping their live show will match the ferocity of the recorded releases. Loved the first single, but the followup needed some work. Perhaps a producer like Rick Rubin could add some flair to their bare bones.

So... Is this the hip new band or what?!? Heard on 101x that this band along with Spoon was the band to beat in 2009. Only their performance at the Fest will tell for sure. I know I for one will be waiting to see if they can deliver on the promise of their debut album.
