ffffuuuuuuuuuh... i totally missed Destroyer 666 at emo's yesterday. if any of you witnessed this tell me how it went so i can stop crying and start living. this is the second time (that i know of) that i've missed this awesome group of aussie black metalers. if you have the means (order, borrow, download), you should totally get "Violence Is The Prince Of This World". nizzie. at least tomorrow i will see Corrorsion Of Conformity (also at emo's)! fuck yeah. the old school lineup has returned with new songs and (i hope mostly) to perform songs from their "Animosity" album (get it.) from 1985. booze. this album is the shit. one of the best crossover h/c punk metal releases. kinda rabid and gritty. you like?

My son's black metal band was supposed to open for D666, but it got screwed up somewhere along the line. Sucks. I really wanted to go, but being broke right now, I was banking on that guest list thing. I'd also like to be at the COC show tonight, but am already obligated to a friend's bday party down the street. Hoping I can sneak away in time to at least catch part of the show. We'll see.
