First Time in Austin
I'm moving to Austin in about five weeks, after spending all of two days in the city... and I'll be there for the next seven years at least. I know next to nothing about the city or the music scene, except that it's awesome and that this is the festival to go to to get a sense of the real happy-haps locally and nationally.
So, Funfunfunfest, will you help me get acquainted with Austin in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE?
I think so. So pumped.

What's with the mass exodus from Chi-town? I left 3 years ago and there are many of us down here. If you get home sick there's a Chicago native hot dog vendor on Lamar called Chris' Little Chicago. Avoid pizza at all costs. Happy moving!

As a native Austinite and UT alumnus, I do believe that FFFF is a *great* way to get to know Austin! They'll have local food and swag vendors, so you get the flavor of a handful of Austin outfits. And the joint is not over-crowded, but enough folks so you have a good time. :)
