Whaaaaaatttt???? Oh, you best believe I've got every crossable body part crossed over here! It just wouldn't be the same without you.
I have a crazy busy weekend on my hands. Avenue Five (the school I'm about to graduate from) is celebrating their 5 yr anniversary with a big, fancy party & fashion show at The W & I will be "doing" one of the models (hair, makeup & wardrobe) on Sunday. It's gonna be a 10+ hour day for me, with the event officially ending at 10pm.
However... that said.... I'm quite wound up, excited, anxious, stressed & nervous (happy, sad, cry, laugh... huh?) over this whole thing & I imagine it would do me good to break away from all the prepping & planning at some point & grab a drink or bite or something. Friday or Saturday evening might work out for me. Still got my number? (it's still the same) Text me & let me know where y'all are at & what you're doing. Hopefully we can meet up.
Hah, I spent my kid-free weekend mostly working (lame, I know). I have several projects all poppin' right now, so I'm doing the BB-approved "Sleep when I'm dead" bit. ;) But I did get out for some nice, relaxing meals with the wife, which is always nice.
Hopefully see y'all some this weekend! I'll PM you my contact info...
Thanks for being so awesome, you guys! You're part of the draw to the fest for me. It's great to have musical brethren. It's not completely ruled out, but unless we can win the scavenger hunt again this year, or get hooked up through the radio station, it may not be feasible. Cross your fingers, toes and whatever else you got that the universe lines up and makes it a reality. We'll be trying our DAMNEDest!
For obvious reasons, that's totally understandable, Phillip. Thank you for the good intentions. I really enjoyed getting time to soak up your awesome spirit, too.
Mista PP, bring it on and thank you! Kids are always welcome to tag along during the daytime activities. How did you enjoy your kid-free time? Get to sleep in? Will be there from the 24th until the 26th.
That DAMNED experience will always reign supreme as a festival and life highlight. Sometimes the truth is stranger that fiction.
Oh, I'm simultaneously excited about your b-day and bummed about you might not be making it to FFF this year! But c'est la vie, folks should enjoy the times they *do* have together!!! :) (I'm also gonna be bummed if your man, J, doesn't get pulled into the signing tent this year; THAT IS STILL SO F'ING FUNNY!!! :) )
So, HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY, BB!!!
That list looks like a fine one! This weekend was my "kid free" one, but I could likely meet up with y'all after dinner next weekend depending on how long you're in town for!!!
That would definitely be a hummed if we couldn't see you at the Shores this year, Bonnie...I really enjoyed hanging out last year. Wish I could make the bday celebration but that won't be possible. Be sure to have a few drinks for me!
