ROCKTOBER!

I'm starting to realize how October got the moniker "Rocktober." Festivals and activities are in full gear, the weather becomes bearable enough to motivate people, thus making it pleasant to get out of the house and several major holidays start to beckon. It also marks the beginning of the closing months of a year.

Just when it seems like my plate couldn't get more full, another opportunity pops up. This is not a complaint, more of an observation, and a very nice change compared to the way this summer panned out. If I could, I would invest in a doppleganger or clone to do my dirty work so I could concentrate on all the fun. All of the commotion is starting to take it's toll. Part of me wishes I could sleep until FunFunFun Fest, but the other part knows that's not gonna happen, so I plan to keep pluggin' away and making the magic happen.

I am very much looking forward to experiencing the legendary Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy (sans some key members) and OFF!, this next week. It will be nice to see how Retox's set pans out, too.

Hit a little speed bump on the Art Chic@s program project. Turns out they couldn't get an interpreter assigned for the program, or any deaf apprentices. I'm slightly bummed but am determined to adapt and overcome, regardless. This project will be a success.

Speaking of successes...does anyone know when the remaining t-shirt contest winners will be announced? I'm interested in seeing what other designs made the cut. Frenemy nailed it with his design for the Black Stage.
