CONCERTS
JUDAS PRIEST in San Antonio, Houston and Dallas is understandable. But how could they pick Corpus over Austin? This is supposed the be the farewell tour. I might just have to make that road trip to catch them.
SOUNDGARDEN in Dallas a week before FFF. It would be awesome to catch them. But can Chris Cornell still sing his old tunes? I still have to check some youtube videos to find out.
Guns N Roses on saturday Nov.5 in Dallas. If it was the original lineup, it would be a no brainer. I don't even know who's in the band anymore. He might as well just rename his band to the Axel Rose Band. Guns N Roses is not the same without Slash, Izzy and Duff (maybe even Steven Adler). What are the chances that he evens comes out to perform? You never know what to expect from Axel.

I'm from Corpus. It is beyond my understanding why anyone goes there.

They've couched the language a bit here, though. This is not really a "Farewell" tour. This is just the last tour with the classic lineup, Halford said that Priest will still play dates, they just won't play as many as they have in the past...

I've got my tickets to see JP for the show at the Allen Events Center. It's not even in Dallas. It is close to me though, so I can't be mad at that. Being that San Antonio is the metal capital of the south, I can see them booking there, over Austin. Corpus has a big metal community, too. If I were you, I'd make the trek! Guns N Roses, ha! Axel must have blown through all his rainy day cash.
God friends of mine are going to see Soundgarden, in Dallas. I don't know that I'd shell out almost $90 a ticket to see them.
