Danger Mouse has formed a new band with James Mercer of The Shins. Broken Bells debut album will be released early next year. I haven't been able to locate any samples on the interwebs, but there is a website where you can sign up for updates. There is also an article about the band on RollingStone.com.

I'm anxious to hear this, especially after Danger Mouse's recent collaboration with Sparklehorse and David Lynch [Dark Night of the Soul]. They appear to not be taking the super-secret route that Them Crooked Vultures have taken so I'm confident we'll get to hear some music in the very near future.
