I don't want to grow up (but maybe I do)
I hate it. I mean, well, I hate having less free time and more responsibilities, but I like having job security, benefits, and a decent salary. Or at least, I think I will like those things when I start my new job next week. It's my first full-time, salaried job ever, and I think (other than the people I know working there) I'm the first of my friends to have a job like that. It's kinda crazy to think about, but I'll just have to take things one day at a time and see how it goes.....Having a salaried job doesn't mean I can't: color, build forts, play on playgrounds, go to shows on weeknights, play hide and seek, etc.

Mmm. Steady pay. That means after all the work, you get to play more. That's even better.

Thanks guys! I appreciate it!
And actually I left the nest some time ago (actually about 8 years ago. Haha.) This is just the first job where I've had a really steady schedule and steady pay and lots of big responsibilities!

That's right, you can still do the fun stuff, just don't forget to do it! Keep an eye out for one of the red swings (href="http://www.redswingproject.org/) around town, they're a cool way to spontaneously chill. :)
Congrats on the jobby-job!
