Trip To Abilene

This weekend I went up to see a friend up in Abilene. I was shown around since i've really never been there and realized that it is not quite interesting. I tried to see any comparison to Austin, but just couldn't see anything. What is there to do around there? Does anyone know? All I ended up doing was seeing a folk band my friend's sister sings in. It was an interesting weekend though.
