I went to the show merely for the trainwreck factor. That, and it's free and on a Tuesday- what else do you have going on that can compare with being 10 feet from Courtney Love and waiting for disaster: I was wrong. Although she completely restaffed the band, it wasnt terrible. I was never really huge into them, even in their heyday of '94, but after the first few minutes of garbled noise, they pulled out Sympathy for the Devil and kept rolling old hits and covers- Next thing you know it had been over an hour and surprisingly entertaining. Granted the crowd was chock full of skanky trainwrecks kinda made up for the show I had anticipated to see. Fuck it, you can't scoff at a good time.
