Moving This Weekend
Well, D-Day is finally upon me: we move into our new place this weekend. I really like our current place, so I'm not excited about this at all, to be honest. The new place is $400/month cheaper but it's also 200 sq.ft smaller and further from my job. We still haven't finished packing everything and my two cats are going to freak the fuck out when we have to move them. We've been here for about four years and the last time we moved, it took my poor little cat about a month to get back to normal. Even getting her into the carrier will be an all-day ordeal that will probably end with me losing an eye and one of my limbs. Ugh...
I don't want to be rich, I just want enough money so I don't have to move from one shitty house to another. Plus, I'm going to lose all of the awesome feral cats that I've come to know and love in my neighborhood: Noseless Kitty, Tuxedo, Pajamas, the Big Boss and the cutest little black kitten that's ever existed.
Sigh...when I die, my tombstone will read "He never had a chance."
