Well, it now appears that something else has been added to the Points Store: Nites Ranger. According to the description, here's what it is:
Every Wednesday, our friends at smart provide us with a series of #protips that we in turn share with the world on our twitter page (@funfunfunfest). Here's some examples of @smartCarUSA #FFFprotips:

Here's my question, though: is this a points item or a contest? At the top, he makes it sound like a contest but you can buy this and redeem it at the boxoffice...what gives? If it can just be bought, I think I'm on this like Flynn!

I just called ground(CTRL) and got my question answered: it was a points item and I just purchased it! Woohoo! I'm pretty damn stoked: the shuttle to Nites and the $200 bar tab are more than worth 3000 points. I no longer feel so bad about not being able to get a PIP with points.
