Rocky & Bullwinkle
One of my favorite cartoons. It might be one of the best I know! It also might be one of the hardest to find on television! I once found myself (a few months ago) trying to find something on tv at 4 am and it happened to be on Boomerang. It has to be one of the coolest feelings to be reintroduced to something you loved as a kid!! Well, my friend was nice enough to let me in on her Netflix account and--as I browsed the tv shows on le xbox--came across gold (refer to blog title). :) You guys have any shows that you used to watch that are now under- or over-rated? Any shows that had an impact on your childhood on any level? I know Tom and Jerry and Ed, Edd, and Eddy were others of mine. I'm interested in this type of thing!

I wasn't offended by your instructor remark. I find it funny, however, since I am a teacher. I think the 'Day of the Dot' episode influenced a generation of teachers. Who knew?

i see you guys mentioned some nickelodeon live action shows. Man i could not stand watching those as a kid! Oh anyways back to the cartoons! Tom and Jerry are one of my faves, especially the oned done by Chuck Jones. What else was there.. oh used to watch a lot of classic Looney Tunes, which i don't see on TV much anymore probably because they aren't PC or something stupid like that. Eek the cat and on the subject of cats, Felix the cat. Oh also saw Fritz the cat at a young age, i was like "whaaaaaat?". And bonnie pretty much mentioned everything else, but if i think of something i'll post again

Thanks guys! I was only skimming the surface.
@Mista PP: The Munsters! Yes! Also, the Addams Family.
How about Salute Your Shorts, Bewitched, I Dream of Genie, Andy Griffith, Beverly Hillbillies, Punky Brewster, The Facts of Life, Saved By the Bell, Full House, Rugrats, Galaxy High, Teen Wolf, Beetlejuice, Ghostbusters, Bugs Bunny, Captain Planet, Thunder Cats, He Man, Garfield, Heathcliff, Dennis the Menace, Transformers, Speed Racer, Mighty Mouse, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Dangermouse, Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, Tailspin, and Rescue Rangers? There are SO many more!
I know I'm getting way off base with just cartoons but it's awesome remembering all these shows. Although, after re-reading through all of these it makes it seem like I lived inside as a kid. Ha.

My chemistry teacher in 10th grade showed us some episodes of Pete&Pete during class a few times! He's at least 25 or 26, so don't take it the wrong way that I'm comparing you to an instructor. :P I thought it was way cool!

The Adventures of Pete and Pete definitely had a huge impact on my childhood. During those years, I would try to act and dress like big Pete as much as possible. That show was so rad!

You guys are definitely hitting a few of my favorites. :) The Three Stooges! I was really into them too! I remember the local Pizza Hut (when they installed tv's) would sometimes have their channels tuned to Three Stooges re-runs, for some odd reason. Bonnie! You did list a fair amount of shows that sparked memories. :o Jetsons, Flintstones, TMNT, and Carmen San Diego... I even played the pc game for that one after some time! :)

Hah, leave it to Bonnie to stir more memories. Great Space Coaster, old-a** black-and-white Twilight Zone reruns (I think these scarred me, but I LOVE them!!!!!), Read All About It, Pac Man (absolutely awful cartoon), The Three Stooges, The Munsters (man, I watched a fair amount of old sh*t), etc....

The Case of the Junk in the Trunk!!!! LOLZ!!! :D Next week, The Case of the Rocket in the Pocket...
That's funny, zq, it was similar in my house, too (watching WB cartoons with my dad). One of my favorites (or one that really stuck with me over the years) is "Dough for the Dodo" (http://www.greektube.org/content/view/63965/2/). Good times!
