Not many things have actually made me laugh when it comes to viral videos besides the reporter gone ghetto within 2 seconds, but i just heard about the teenage girl who jumps off a ride in new jersey to avoid getting "struck by lighting".

"SEASIDE HEIGHTS — A New Jersey teen says she “freaked out” when her chairlift ride high above a beach stopped as a thunderstorm approached — and that’s why she jumped.

Melanie Rossomando said she figured it was either be hit by lightning or break a leg.

A video posted to YouTube shows the girl in Seaside Heights jumping off the Sky Ride onto the beach below as dark clouds and heavy winds rolled in Saturday.

The girl was reportedly bruised but otherwise uninjured.

The operators of the Casino Pier amusement park say the chair ride was in standby mode and no new passengers were being allowed on when the power went out."
