09 PIPS - What Did You Think?
I want to know what fellow 09ers thought about the PIP tickets. We (being me and my boyfriend) have decided to buy PIP again this year, but I want to know what you thought could have improved.
Since neither of us had ever been to FFF before, we decided to get the PIP to make sure the experience was kick ass. The things I liked best about it were...
1) PIP Deck. I can get a little anxious when there are a million people around and so being able to climb up to a PIP oasis was a big benefit for me. Plus, my boyfriend is more of the music lover, so it was nice to be able to chill out and drink a soda if I wanted while he checked out some metal band.
Which brings me to number two...
2) Free Nonalcoholic Beverages, too- Since I can't drink beer the free bottle water and sodas available really kicked ass.
3) Free Food- Though it took us until the second day to figure out where the free food was, and there didn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to what time they were serving it, it kicked ass none the less.
So what do you guys think?
Pros? Cons? Good? Bad? Ugly?

i think i want to see a pic of this golden ticket...all the perks sound worth it for sure...haven't opted for PIP yet, not sure if I will unless my whole crew gets in too...you sure do a good job promoting it though...it is an oasis in the trees, above the dust and crowds

I think my boyfriend finally received a golden ticket a couple of months after the festival. You aren't missing much; it was an awkward large gold poster type thing that had been bent to be shipped if I remember correctly. Also, even though he bought two PIP tickets he only got one golden ticket thing.
I feel that my expectations are lower this time around, and I will probably enjoy it more because of it.

I liked it, just wish I could get liquor instead of beer(which I can't drink). Overall a good experience. The only big negative was that the promised goodies weren't ready when they were supposed to be, and some of them still haven't appeared(golden ticket...Bueller?Bueller?)
