I saw them early this year and they were unintelligible live. It's just too many mics. It's really hard to be blown away by a rap group unless of course you're De La Soul.
I can appreciate some of the points o.f. is trying to get across, just be yourself and fuck everyone else, but violence is never ever ever okay. the ironic thing is that most of the audience will be young(ish) girls...
i think funfest rescinding their invitation would def make a statement... like, "hey guys, that shit's not cool". great idea, though i don't think it'll happen this late in the game...
