Fast Review

This was my 3rd FFFF and they have all been great. No major issues with me, but it sounds like some of my friends with PIP had a few probs. I guess the dust was a drag and the time conflicts were no fun. Speaking of, can I pick the schedule next year? Would of loved to catch more of Bob Mould (only saw 3 songs).

The best acts (in no order besides 1). Refused (best act of the fest. That was so mind blowing. I felt like crying at the end of the set. It was beautiful.) Cursive, Run DMC, Converge, Bob Mould, De La Soul, Surfer Blood, Tomahawk (Mike Patton is a vocal God), Between the Buried and Me, Schoolboy Q, DMC, X, Danny Brown. I'm sure I'm leaving off a lot of other great ones...

Wish I could watch more full sets but I had to jump from one place to another.

What happened with Charli XcX? I stood at that set for like 15 min like an idiot.

It was nice running into a few of you. Wish I ran into more. Next time just come up and say hi. I'm usually in a zone.

Ready to see what next year has to offer for us!

Cheers!

I wandered about Charli XcX. I got over there and is Franki Chan doing a dj set. Refused was the shit!

The Refused and Tomahawk sets were awe-inspiring, indeed. The Tomahawk set actually reminded me of prime FNM, mostly due to Patton's hilarious stage-banter and the huge, pumped-up sound of the band. Refused was, of course, a life-changing experience: I had absolutely no voice left after shouting out the lyrics to "Summer Holidays vs Punk Routine."
