Angry Vs the Bear, from Essex, UK pretty please with cherries on top. They're my favorite band. They've really put a twist on electro-alternative stuff, think Late of The Pier meets Blondie--with a dash of 50's swing. With sequins. And large hair. And a keytar. I love them because they manage to produce amazing sounds and effects, but they do it by using synths and pedals and keytars and (sometimes) cowbells. They're a fun, dancy band, but there's no laptop involved--it's all done onstage, right in front of you. Gah. They're fantastic. Check 'em out.
