For local bands...Christine and Hug is simply entertaining and fun. They make anyone want to dance and wanting more....

    Mind Spiders and Mean Jeans!

And The Goodnight Loving's (especially since they canceled their Austin show next week and that new record is AMAZING!)

Guster, Beirut, The Tallest Man on Earth, Freelance Whales, Blind Pilot, Bowerbirds, Horse Feathers...

Basically what I'm saying is more folk. Or even a folk stage. We could get rid of the comedy stage?

If somehow they reunited my suggestion would be: Death From Above 1979.

A Place To Bury Strangers. Easily one of the most exciting live bands out there at the moment. A spoken word set from Rollins would be dope too.

Katzenjammer would be an awesome band to bring in this year!

    Katzenjammer live 1

    Katzenjammer live 2

The black stage would be pleased to see Acid Bath reunite at fff. Dax Riggs is in Austin now.
Also, Cee lo Green on the blue stage? Girl in a coma, Bat for lashes, Eagle claw from Austin, Elbodo from Houston..
And for the yellow stage.. David Cross?

Since TE booked At the Drive-In at Red 7, thus limiting the number of us who could see them, I think they need to be booked for FFF in 2012. Failing that I'll gladly settle for The Mars Volta though...the new album is Amazing.

Also book Refused! From all indications they'll still be touring by the end of the year...every month they add more tour dates.

Others for 2012: Screaming Females, Saul Williams, Future of the Left, Liars, Metric, and Swans
I wish The Jesus Lizard could play every year.
